USER INTERFACE DESIGN SERVICES
I've designed and improved mobile and web applications, websites, desktop
software, and speech
interfaces, too. I've helped corporations like
SAP and GE as well as Silicon Valley start-ups. I've been sent as far
as England, Japan and Singapore to help my clients and their
customers. This is an overview of the kinds of services I can
provide.

Mobile user interface design leaves little room for errorthe
latest smartphones like the iPhone give users high expectations. A
small screen and interacting a touchscreen on the go is not like using
a mouse at your desk. In addition to design expertise to address
these challenges, I can develop the user interface and application to
ensure that every detail of user and device performance is optimal.

Detailed prototypes bring the user interface to life and serve as
useful work of engineering to show the way. Each word of
documentation, each pixel or voice recording, and each line of code of
each project gets my personal attention, yet I work fast. I can present
a high-fidelity prototype for a complex system within just a couple of weeks.

Usability
testing is a good way to find problems, reducing
the risk that your users will encounter serious design flaws. This
kind of research requires a prototype (or nearly complete product). |

 |
 |
In a quick
audit, I can suggest practical changes that your
developers will be able to implement immediately. This fixed-price
critique is aimed at mobile, web-based, IVR, or speech recognition
applications, or screen shots of a desktop application.

A design
audit is most appropriate between major
versions of a product. A comprehensive design audit sets priorities
for change, and can also include sketches or a prototype.
